I have been doing a personal project with cosplayers and LARPers. This is one of the simpler images I took. It was shot in studio with the backdrop, using a Nikon D750, Flashpoint eVolv 200 off camera flash, and a 36 inch octa double diffused with a grid. I feathered the light and because the room is so small there is enough bounce to throw some light on the backdrop. Observing how long it took Jason to get into his armor really changed my thoughts about battle scenes in.Games of Thrones-type TV shows. "The battle is enjoined, hurry! Umm ... hold it ... I just ... can somebody help me with this strap?"
