Fujifilm Announces the X-S20 Mirrorless Camera and XF 8mm f/3.5 R WR Lens
Today, Fufjifilm has announced a new mirrorless camera, the X-S20, and ultra-wide angle lens, the XF 8mm f/3.5 R WR. Here's what you can expect.

Fujifilm X-S20 Mirrorless Camera

Replacing the X-S10, the X-S20 mirrorless camera comes with a variety of features, including:

  • Back-illuminated 26.1-megapixel sensor X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor
  • X-Processor 5
  • AI-based subject-detection autofocus with deep learning technology
  • 6.2K 30p 4:2:2 10-bit video
  • 1080p video at up to 240 fps
  • 4K 60p streaming over USB-C
  • 19 film simulation modes with different presets for specific subjects
  • Five-axis in-body image stabilization with up to 7 stops of compensation
  • 2.36-million-dot EVF with 0.62x magnification
  • 1.84-million-dot rear vari-angle rear LCD 
  • F-Log2 with over 13 stops of dynamic range
  • Raw video output over HDMI 
  • 3.5mm jack

The X-S20 is available for preorder for $1,299 and is expected to ship on June 29.

Fujifilm XF 8mm f/3.5 R WR Lens

With an equivalent focal length of 12mm, the XF 8mm f/3.5 R WR offers users plenty of room to capture all of season. It features:

  • 12 elements in 9 groups
  • Three aspherical and two extra-low dispersion elements for reduced distortion and increased sharpness
  • Autofocus in as little as 0.02 seconds
  • Just over two inches (5 cm) long
  • 7.6 oz (215 g)
  • Dust- and weather-resistant construction
  • Fluorine coating on front element

The XF 8mm f3.5 R WR is available for preorder for $799 and is expected to ship on June 29.
