Frozen Snoqualmie Falls

Hello Everyone,
New to the group!

With all the lowland snow the Seattle area received I made my way out to Snoqualmie falls to try and catch it with fresh snow and ice, the light was a bit dodgy but it was still a great time and nice to see the falls like this.

You can view my latest BTS video (vlog) about this photo on youtube

Excited to see that you were able to get to that spot. I still haven't found out how to get to the lower river. The unexpected winter weather here certainly made things beautiful.

I love the framing, but I'm slightly distracted by the different tones...ie. the sun lit cliffs in the left and the blue toned snow in the in the bottom. However, I'm only a novice so take my comments with a grain of salt.

Thanks Chris appreciate the feedback, I see what you mean with the tones. The blue cast comes from it being cold and dark in the shade and I wanted to kind of keep that feeling so I left a bit of that hue in the image, Lighting wasn't optimal and this was just before it became to harsh on the cliffs. This is struggle with shooting waterfalls in less than favorable light..
