A Sunday walk in the park

Sharing a couple shots I took this past Sunday. I shot these during an early morning stroll in a local park. Nothing more peaceful than beautiful well manicured spring gardens after a morning rain and sunrise. Sometimes, you just got to get out and find something to shoot even if it is something as simplistic as a local park. Never know what you will find until you grab your gear and just go! What did you shoot this past Sunday? Please share.

wound up with duds this weekend unfortunately but i got out in the piece and quiet of the early morning and reset those stress levels best therapy in the world...the images...https://fstoppers.com/groups/landscape-and-nature-photography/357475/str...

Well at least you got out. Indeed the best therapy!!! Thanks for sharing.

For sure!!! no problem.

Impressive profile Joseph. Brand new member here at Fstoppers and trying to learn my way around.

Thank you I am still in learning phases myself only started shooting this past summer into fall trying to get my bearings as well this site is great for improvement I’ve seen a huge difference from where I started still struggling with composition but keep at it on here and you will get a lot of insight and a lot of help and the problem areas

You're too modest, Joseph! I think your compositions are amongst the best here; I rarely feel I want to change anything in your images.

thanks Chris but i am hardest on myself because i know where i want to be and know that im nowhere close yet but ill get there it doesn't help when i am comparing my images to those who have been shooting for 20+yrs

You are too hard on yourself. And - I said this to a newbie once and now I'll send it to you. Enjoy the journey because once you arrive, the journey is over. So chin up Joe! I learn a lot from looking at your work. YOU are one of the people I compare my work to and think "I hope I get there at some point". :)

And now here is another one in Greg!

Welcome, Greg! Your images are very soothing for lazy me, who didn't shoot nothin' last Sunday. :-( I hope you'll enjoy the civil company here, and lots of constructive interaction.

Thanks Chris. Appreciate the compliment. I have only been shooting for about a year and just recently started to dive in and think about what I shoot rather than shoot everything. Lol
Composition is at the forefront of my learning right now which as you probably know, takes lots of time, patience and practice. I am more a naturalist so don’t put much into post production editing. I want to work hard to hone my photography skills and techniques before I get wild and creative with post production stuff.

Again, thanks for the welcome and look forward to meeting many new awesome photographers here. Awesome portfolio Chris!

Thanks, Greg! Your portfolio is shaping up pretty well already. And better too little "post" than too much, as I'm sure you've seen for yourself - and will again.

We had bad weather Sunday. I like the idea of a daily post though Greg. You should start a group where you (or the members) post a date and people chime in. Fun!

Your photographs are beautiful! The colors are so rich. A pleasure for my eyes!

Thanks Ruth! Appreciate the kind words and encouragement. I just joined a Meetup group in my hometown and looking forward to meeting others and learning all that I can. Your work is impressive and I look forward to following you and seeing all that you accomplish!

Thanks Greg! The feeling is mutual
