This is a nice one! Technically this is spot on. Exposure perfect. focus perfect. Really Well done.
I'll just add that there is a composition concept which I'll call 'space to act' that might work here. What this means is that it works well from a composition standpoint to leave space for your subject to do the next thing it would do. Take a few steps, strike at a fish, gaze into the distance, whatever. Just give the subject the space to do the next action allows the viewer to finish the story in their own minds and creates another level of interest. Sometimes, when the subject is dead center, it can come across looking like something i call and 'definition' shot as in "This is a polar bear".
These are just thoughts. I hope it makes sense. I put a screen capture with some pasted background to show when I'm talking about.
Bottom line - I'd be thrilled to get such a great shot of polar bear so Well Done!
