Shot on Kodak Tri-X 400 B&W film. Nikon F100. Converted to digital in Elements. Chosen as Washington Post Weather Gang Photo of the Year in 2009. I was out shooting in the fog along the Potomac River in January in Georgetown, and when I got near the bridge I saw how the fog created this soft, moody and beautifully lit composition.
Nice job, Bill. You give the bridge a real grandeur, while at the same time there's a beautiful serenity about the image. And I like your composition.
