For me, this is your finest image that I've seen, Stanley, and that's saying isomething, given the quality of your portfolio. The subtle colours and "flat" light make for a quietly haunting image, which appeals for reasons I don't understand - and I really like that about it! Sublime.
Sublime is right Chris, I have a simple question when assessing other landscape images, which is, would I hang it on my wall? Absolutely yes, is the answer regarding this image.
It was an overcast day when I reached at the beach. Then on the way to return to the car park, I discovered this spot really attracted me to stopping by for this shot.
Very well spotted Stanley. My flights to NZ have just been cancelled, so be next year for me now.
