Sunrise in the Cascades
Been trying to figure out what would make this shot better. Thought maybe a long exposure would have been better for the lake at least to smooth the waves. Any suggestions?

That's a really beautiful scene! I personally don't think a long exposure would add much here, and it would really potentially take away from the beautiful clouds.
If anything, perhaps darken the sky and enhance the cloud detail, and try some different crops.
I played around a bit with the skies and cropped to add some emphasis to the mountain peak...

Thank you! I really like the crop, it gives the image more depth and makes the mountain more prominent. Appreciate the help!
