I was in Northern Arizona last week for some fall color photography. While I was there I visited an amazing site called White Pocket. The scenery was overwhelming. I was able to catch this sunset along with a few other pictuers. I wanted to share this and see what you think about it.
Over all I like this shot. The only thing I would change is to crop the top overexposed section out and frame in a little. The white is pulling my eye away from the rest of the image.
I agree the small patch of white at the top is taking away from beauty of the rest it.
good Idea. You know that falls under the category "I didn't even notice until you mentioned it" Thanks for the suggestion It is something that I will definitely take care of
here is the cropped version
In the first image everything looked great. the only issue i found was too much distraction up at the top of the frame. I think if you save the aspect ratio and just bring the crop in from the top it will frame the center well and maintain the feel you were going for in the first edit.(here is what I mean)
