Missouri doesn’t have as many grand vistas as seaside and mountain states but it does have many intimate scenes as this old mill. It is a testament to a hardscrabble life of early settlers in the Missouri Ozarks.
Deep in the Mark Twain forest this mill was powered by a small spring flowing from the side of a bluff along Hurricane Creek.
I lit the scene with LED video lights and used a CamRanger to take multiple exposures used in the composite.
