Located beside Caesar's Head rock in SC, the Devil's Kitchen is a series of crevasses in the rock on the side of the mountain. This scene is just outside the actual "kitchen" that contains a narrow path that you can carefully walk through. This particular split is roughly 3 feet wide (just enough for an adult male to fall about 20 feet down before becoming wedged in) and sits around 3200 feet elevation. The fog settled in just before we arrived, and it was THICK.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a tripod with me so this is a handheld shot. I'll definitely return to get another photo, although I'm not sure I'll be able to catch the fog like this again anytime soon.
As always, CC is greatly appreciated!
I hate it when I forget or didn't take my tripod...and it will never be the same
