The Memory Remains

"They say that memories are like a memory capacity that allows us to store certain moments or information.
It retains them for a lifetime and sends them back to the present to fill in those visual data that had almost been erased."

A few days ago, some Galician compatriots perished in the turbulent waters of Canada while practicing their profession.
A terrible event that warns us how dangerous the sea is.
With this shot taken a few days ago where I wanted to emphasize the force of nature, I dedicate it to all those who have unfortunately lost their lives at sea.

My intention was to portray the Cormorant on top of the stone drying its wings calmly in the sunlight while the sea was beating sharply against the cliffs.

Absolutely stunning my friend!!

Many thanks Álvaro!! 🙌🙌

Well done! I think you've conveyed exactly what you intended. A powerful and beautiful image.

Ty Chris! I'm glad to know that I conveyed what I wanted to! Best regards 🙌

it's a nice photo and composition but "My intention was to portray the Cormorant on top of the stone..." and I must say that I had to really search for it, because what you said is your main subject is something like 10px.

Hi, thank you very much, I'm glad you like it.
Maybe I expressed myself badly. Evidently that day I was doing cliff photography. Looking for textures in the sea water.
When I saw the Cormorant on the stone, I went to that part of the cliff exclusively because the Cormorant was there.
But I only had a wide-angle lens, since jumping from rock to rock with a telephoto lens is not a good idea.
That was the explanation itself. I chose that area among many others because the Cormorant was there, but if it wasn't there.... I would take the shot somewhere else. I didn't mean to imply that it was my main subject.
Best regards mate.
