I have 16 TB worth of photographs that need to be cleared out. I'm astonished at how tiring it is and how careful one has to be, because it's very easy to delete stuff that maybe shouldn't have been deleted. This photograph is one of them. I very nearly deleted it, and then I decided that, despite the faults, I think it is a rather striking photograph and I'm lucky to have shot it. It was shot with a Sony a7R V with a 70-200mm lens, the mark 2 version.
I have been sorting through my external SSDs, getting rid of all the photographs I should have got rid of on the day I uploaded them.
I have been working through all my SSD exts, which are filled with thousands of photographs, most of which are dross and need to be deleted.
This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.
That haunting mental image of a woman you glanced at while walking past a Paris cafe...
I hate the term "fine art" but I don't know what else exactly to call these besides just black and white.
