With this picture I have left the model on a metal staircase, on the outside of a building. Because she is sitting on a staircase, it is easy for her to support her elbows on her knees and lean a little forward to make the distance to the camera smaller.
After that, the model has free play when it comes to whether or not to look into the camera, but I always want at least one eye to be seen in at least one eye.

I like the atmosphere and the dreamy look in this photo.

I have been working through all my SSD exts, which are filled with thousands of photographs, most of which are dross and need to be deleted.

New Life

This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.
