A chair or a bench can be a nice tool to play and vary in terms of poses. In addition, a chair or sofa can make it easier to shape the pose so that you can play as a model to the distance to the camera, the more the model rests on its right arm, the smaller the distance to the camera will be.
His right hand has the function as a repoussoir, by having an object out of focus in the foreground you will create depth in the photo.

I have been sorting through my external SSDs, getting rid of all the photographs I should have got rid of on the day I uploaded them.

I have been working through all my SSD exts, which are filled with thousands of photographs, most of which are dross and need to be deleted.

New Life

This is not a good shot in the way we ould normally think of but I at least the got the eye dead sharp of this 5-7 day old Wood Pigeon which we have done our best to protect both parents.
