I'm not one for super-technical bickering, but often when mentioning Priolite HotSync on different photo forums, someone is sure to show up and say "It's just HSS, it's not worth it, it's snake oil etc etc."
That might all be true! But I can't reconcile the tsk-tsking with the results I've been getting out of the 1000ws model. That's ISO50 F/2 1/6400 from a 5DIII @85mm.
