Fall is here, and it is one of the best times to head out with your camera and capture some woodland photos. Before you do, be sure to check out this great video tutorial that features a seasoned photographer discussing a variety of tips that are sure to improve your photos.
Coming to you from Adam Gibbs, this awesome video tutorial will show you a variety of ways to improve your woodland photos. These photos can be a nice change of pace and a new challenge if you are used to more traditional landscape photography. Normally, you have a lot of room to establish a foreground, mid-ground, and background, and you can create visual paths for the viewer's eye to enter and move through the photo, but when you are working in the often intimate setting of a forest, you do not get those luxuries, and you often have to deal with much busier frames in which creating a clean composition is a particular challenge. It can be quite rewarding when you get it right, though, and it is a fantastic way to expand your creative palette. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Gibbs.
