Lightroom is the sort of program that you can spend years using, only to discover something you had never seen before. Whether you are new to the program or a seasoned user, this great video tutorial is likely to have a useful nugget of information in it sure to improve your images and make your workflow easier and more efficient.
Coming to you from Omar Gonzalez Photography, this excellent video tutorial will show you a wide variety of useful tools and features in Lightroom that can make you a more capable editor and make your workflow more efficient. My personal favorite is using the "J" key to toggle the clipping indicators on and off. When you turn this on, any blown highlights will turn red, while any clipped shadows will turn blue. Lightroom will dynamically update the indicators as you adjust the toning sliders. This makes it easy to make sure that you are not losing any image quality, particularly if you are printing your images or if you like to really push the dynamic range of your photos. Not only that, it's generally quicker than trying to eyeball things. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Gonzalez.
Please, also post the text. THREE reasons (1) I can read 2-3 times faster (2) with text I can easily study sections over again and (3) I am often where I don't want to interrupt others with sound or have to use ear buds. Thanks
