One of the most beautiful forests I have ever been in. We had the privilege of being able to be in this very gorgeous forest in Oregon. The thing I enjoyed most about this place was the quiet. The only thing I heard was silence, wind in the tops of the trees and the surf breaking several hundred yards away. There is a rhythm to the surf that helps me to block everything else out to allow for great concentration as I work. I used a Canon 6D, Canon 24-105L lens. I imported the image using Light Room and the black and white conversion was done using Photoshop only.

It's so calm and peaceful. We were there in February so it wasn't over run with people. Winter is my favorite time of the year here.
