The Sandia Mountains sit just to the East of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We were visiting there and decided to take the tram up to the Crest of the Sandias. It was later in the afternoon and the sun was exactly where I would want it to be for a landscape image if I were using my large format film camera. However, we were inside a tram car looking out through a plexiglass window and I wasn't sure how sharp the image would be using my digital Canon 60D camera and the kit lens. Turns out it is sharp enough. BTW, this view point would be impossible to get using a large format camera since we were suspended literally several hundred feet in the air above the canyon floor.
