Fine at Sunrise, Northern New Mexico

This is an area in Northern New Mexico that has very restricted access because it is on private land. You have seen the area many times in Western Movies. I had the good fortune to have a friend who had access and he invited me to go there with him when I was previewing a Leaf 80MP back to go on my Hasselblad 500Cm camera in contemplation of purchase; I didn't purchase it, BTW. We were there on a very crisp early February morning. I really liked the form of the cloud repeating the form of the fin rising from the desert floor. I used a Gossen Luna Pro SBC meter to determine exposure since the camera does not have an internal meter. I used a Hasselblad 500Cm camera with a 50mm Distagon lens and a Leaf 80mb digital back. The conversion to black and white was done using Light Room and then processed using Photoshop.
