Praia da Adraga, Portugal

I was in Portugal a few years ago in early December and was down on this beach in the early afternoon. I set up my camera to make this image and several local surf fishing guys came over wanting to know what I was doing. Language kept me from communicating, so I made my exposures and then let them look into the back of my camera. Of course, my images are upside down and backwards in the camera so they had some confusion, but in the end they got it - I think. In any event it was a great experience and i would go back. The fin to the right of the land mass made me think of a sharks dorsal fin, though that would be the Jaws shark on mega steroids!

I used a Toyo 45A camera with a 210mm Sironar-S lens and a #15 yellow filter with Kodak T-Max 100 film
