Süleymaniye Through the Galata Bridge

The Süleymaniye Mosque framed through one of the structural openings beneath the lower deck of the Galata Bridge. The rusted, worn metalwork of the bridge creates a natural vignette around the Ottoman skyline, with storm clouds building dramatically behind the mosque's four minarets. The contrast between the decaying industrial frame and the ancient grandeur beyond was the whole point of the shot.
