The Treasury at Petra, Jordan, glimpsed through a narrow gap in the towering sandstone walls of the Siq. The near-total darkness of the canyon walls and the rose-red warmth of the carved facade create a contrast that no amount of processing could improve — it was simply there, waiting. Shot at midday when direct light briefly reaches the facade.
