Layers in Geroldsee

Many photographers recommend turning 180 degrees from popular landmarks for a unique angle, but for myself I find a right angle to be much more effective =)

Geroldsee is known for its chalets and lake situated under the mountain range, but 90 degrees to the right lie delicious layers of mountains and trees that glow brilliantly at sunset.

So next time you hit a famous viewpoint, turn 90 degrees to your right or left.

3-shot blended exposure.

Geroldsee, Krün, Germany.
