I starting traveling nearly 3 years ago, and Scotland was my first international landscape photography trip. Since then, I've always felt that I overlooked some great Scottish landscapes that I would have noticed now.

So I was ecstatic when I flipped through my archives and found this gem from the Quiraing! 3 years ago I had been unable to edit this and ignored the composition, but it seems I got a second chance.

I had come for the Old Man of Storr, but after trudging through the misty rain and whipping winds of the Trotternish region I never made it to the spot. At the time, I hadn't seen this view of the Quiraing, so I snapped the shot without much notice just before hiking up the steep slope into "The Table" at the top.

Trotternish, Isle of Skye, Scotland.
