Imagine stepping out of your car on a chilly autumn morning. Putting all your gear on your back and hitting the trail. The sun is not fully over the horizon yet. Your feet have never touched the trail beneath your feet. You hear the roar of the waterfall, but you cannot see it yet. The sun rises a tad higher. You crest a hill and in front of you is Soco Falls. No one is here. It is only you. Now imagine the smile that was on my face as the sunlight spilled through the opening above the falls and having this place all alone.
