Advertising photography relies upon catching and maintaining the viewers interest with a concept that is related to the product being advertised.
With this in mind, we created this image to show that the tin of soup is full of tomatoey soupey goodness whist keeping the number of elements to a bare minimum.
The elements were shot individually using consistent lighting. Strip boxes were used front right and rear left, the tomato was shot sliced in half and then with the inner section removed.
The individual elements were cut out using the pen tool in Photoshop and then composited into a single image as well as adding the background and shadows.
Do you think that this image conveys that the soupd is full of tomatoey goodness? Would you like to eat a bowl of it? If the answer is yes, then I've done my job properly!
Many thank for your kind words William! Your images a inspiring to me too and it’s great to be part of each other’s photographic journey!
