An old one from the Big Island of Hawaii, taken back in 2019. This is probably one of my favorite spots on the island because you're guaranteed to see big waves.
This is 3-4 separate images, blended together in PS, all taken from the same exact spot...only one frame had a different exposure as I had to compensate for the direct sunlight. 2 frames were to combine some of the awesome wave action, 1 frame was my finger blocking the sun to reduce flare, and 1 was for the brightest highlight areas around the sun. I love seascapes, but always have a tough time shooting them, especially when shooting into direct light like this. A little salt on your lens and your images are toast.
