Depths of the Earth

I spent almost a month in the Himalayas of Nepal this past April. It included lots of hiking, dal bhat, and expansive views of some of the tallest mountains on Earth. I actually found it to be a really tough area to photograph. I only came back with a few images, maybe 2-3. But, it was a great experience and it was pretty amazing to see Everest for the first time. I did get altitude sickness, only for a day, but wow it knocked me out. The Lukla airport was crazy too, I see why they call it the most dangerous in the world.

I spent 3-4 days around this area of Ama Dablam waiting for some decent light. Every afternoon would look promising, then clouds would roll in and crash the party for sunset. On my last night, I got lucky and was able to stitch this panorama together.
