Mount Monolith, along with the jagged sub-peaks surrounding it, teleports you into a world much like what Tolkein had envisioned. Dark, outstretched spires that give off a haunted aura. Constantly cloaked in clouds, yet only reveal themselves under the veil of night.
Little did I know that our first night would display the most epic night conditions of our trip. Seen here combines five significant elements: Mountains, Aurora, Reflection, and a moonrise. Coupled that with ominous clouds weaving In and around the peaks, we got ourselves a photographer's dream come true.
