Last week, I embarked on my first nocturnal outing of the year—a quick, midweek excursion at rather ungodly hours, which made the next morning at work a bit tough but was absolutely worth it.
I visited this chapel years ago during one of my initial night photography attempts, so I thought it would be a fitting way to kick off the season this year. The night was incredibly cold, and a few clouds threatened to ruin our session just as the Milky Way's core began to appear. However, we were incredibly fortunate that they soon dissipated.
The sky was stunningly clear, with only a faint mist making the distant wind turbines' red lights more prominent than desired. It was a fantastic night, marked by the brilliant presence of Antares in Scorpio, shining brightly alongside the Milky Way's core.
