During my recent excursion to Euskadi, I revisited this enchanting spot. My first visit, in 2020 autumn, gifted me with dense fog, while this springtime journey presented low-hanging clouds that formed a gentle mist. This mist acted as a natural diffuser for the sunlight, preventing harsh overexposure, though a few rays still pierced over the rocks.
I composed the shot to include the iconic tree, the flowing river, and delicate foreground plants, creating a sense of depth that guides the observer's eye. These landscapes always remind me of the enchanting realms of Middle-earth, especially the ancient Old Forest and the majestic Ents wandering through their timeless domain. The scene captures a sense of enduring beauty and mythical wonder, akin to the mystical places in Tolkien's world.
