Sea of Flames and Stone

Lately, I’ve been exploring this place more and more, uncovering its photographic potential with each visit. Just a few months ago, I wouldn’t have imagined how much inspiration I’d find here—I initially came just for a bit of exploration, but it quickly became one of my favorite locations.
During the golden hour, I spent my time jumping between the rocks, searching for textures, foreground elements, and anything that could add depth to my compositions. That’s when I stumbled upon this small tidal pool—left behind by a wave that had dared to climb over the cliffs at high tide.
Its shape instantly caught my attention, and I knew it could be an interesting focal point. In the background, the lighthouse stood against a sky that seemed to be ablaze with fire.
Also, I don’t know why, but I’ve been incredibly lucky with sunsets in Meirás lately. It feels like Punta Frouxeira still has so much more to reveal, and I’m here to discover it.
