With spring just around the corner, I’ve ventured into something entirely new: flower macro photography.
During an early morning walk through As Fragas do Eume this weekend, I came across this delicate daffodil. As I set up my shot, I noticed the rising sun beginning to illuminate its petals, turning them slightly translucent under the soft morning rays.
I quickly adjusted my composition to capture this fleeting moment of light, and I’m glad I did. This first dive into macro work has opened up a whole new world of possibilities, and I’m excited to see where it takes me!
