Stone and Stream

Despite the stormy weekend, I still found time to revisit a waterfall I hadn’t photographed in a while. The flow was quite strong, and since the vegetation had yet to fully regain its spring vibrance, I decided to focus on the rocks emerging from the river’s surface.

These stones created a compelling foreground, naturally leading the eye toward the main cascade. Once again, I was impressed by the sharpness of the Brightin Star 16mm in close-up compositions—especially when combined with focus stacking, allowing for flawless depth and clarity across the entire frame.

Now, I can’t wait to return when spring transforms this place into a lush paradise!
