Continuing with the series from my recent outing to O Valadouro, this particular morning offered a unique set of conditions.
The day began cold and damp, setting the tone for an exciting session exploring waterfalls and forests. As we made our way along the trail to the Fervenza de Torez, we were greeted by an incredible sight—a thick, dense mist surrounding the waterfall. It was the first time I had ever witnessed such heavy fog enveloping the cascades, and I knew I couldn’t let this rare moment slip away.
I grabbed my camera and waded into the river to get as close as possible to the cascading waters. The goal was to capture the silky textures of the smaller falls in the foreground, with the main cascade shrouded in ethereal mist as the background. The moss-covered rocks added another layer of texture and vibrancy to the scene.
This location never disappoints; every visit reveals something new, especially as the seasons change and nature paints its canvas in different hues and moods.
