Returning to the lands of Euskadi with this photograph, taken in a location well-known to photographers and nature lovers alike.
I hesitated for a long time before deciding to share this image because the conditions we had that morning were perhaps the opposite of what we usually aim for in this iconic spot. It was already late in the morning, there was no fog (except for some low clouds that barely managed to reach the beech forest), the light was getting too harsh and was on the verge of burning out the highlights and autumn had mostly passed in this area—there were hardly any leaves left on the trees.
After revisiting the image and giving it another chance, I decided to step out of my comfort zone, breaking free from the notion that we must only work with "perfect" or "ideal" conditions.
Here’s the result: a photo of a well-known location captured in less "suitable" conditions but still carrying its essence. And, in the end, I’ve come to appreciate it!
Wonderfully taken photo
