Textures of Time and Flow

Today, I’m sharing a photo from the last outing of 2024, just days before the year came to a close. This is a spot I’ve visited many times and know well, which challenges me to seek out fresh perspectives and new compositions.

It was an intriguing morning with a delicate mist rolling in over the top of the waterfall. While the mist didn’t last long (as you can see in this shot), I was fortunate to capture some of it in other shots that are still waiting on my hard drive...Stay tuned for those!

For this composition, I was drawn to the small cascades in the foreground, creating foamy textures and silky patterns that contrasted beautifully with the vivid greens of the moss and the final autumn leaves, scattered in shades of red and brown across the rocks.
