This weekend, I embarked on what will likely be my last outing to the forest in search of waterfalls and rivers. As summer approaches, the rivers lose much of their flow, and the lush green vegetation begins to wither and dry up. Despite this, I was pleasantly surprised by the state of the area around Fervenza do Toxa. Recent rains have extended the end of spring, allowing me to enjoy the forests a bit longer.
I wasn't sure how this composition would work since I knew a tree would block the main waterfall. However, I decided to venture down among the rocks and give it a try. I discovered this perspective, which I found incredibly interesting. The central rock divides the river's flow in two, the vegetation is still lush, and the mist creeps through the trees over the stone cliffs.
