Simplicity of Color and Tone

Because of the influence of today's social media on photography, we are driven toward the making of high impact images. Brilliant lighting and "sugary saturated colors" seem to carry the day. On a recent trip to Morocco, I saw this image in a valley below a walking path. I was struck by the beautifully muted color and tones from "feathery trees". These were contrasted with the white branches of poplar trees. The overall image was just an abstract of peacefulness.
