Essential Keyboard Shortcuts for Working in Photoshop

Many photographers will spend multiple hours a week working on their images in Photoshop, and as such, finding even little places to save some time can add up to major time savings over the long run. This excellent video tutorial will show you the most essential keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop and how to use them.

Coming to you from Aaron Nace of Phlearn, this great video tutorial will show you a variety of essential keyboard shortcuts for working in Photoshop. As every photographer knows well, Photoshop is a deeply complex application in which many techniques and functions take multiple steps to implement, and as such, anything you can do to make your workflow more efficient can make a big difference after a while. Beyond efficiency, committing such shortcuts to memory can actually improve the quality of your work. By removing the need to consciously track down functions and instead committing them to muscle memory, you leave yourself free to pay complete attention to the creative process. In turn, you will likely find yourself working more consistently and staying more focused on the deeper parts of image-making rather than logistics. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Nace.
