What's New in the Latest Versions of Lightroom and Photoshop?

The latest versions of Lightroom and Photoshop are here, and they bring with them some highly impressive new features that will make your workflow easier and more efficient. If you want to make sure you do not miss any of the new features so you can get the most out of both programs, check out this great video overview that will show you everything you need to know.

Coming to you from Matt Kloskowski, this helpful video will demonstrate all the important new features in Lightroom and Photoshop. While Adobe has added a lot quality-of-life upgrades to the programs that will make your workflow easier and more efficient (in particular, the masking capabilities in Lightroom), there are some exciting features that look like they will also feed your creative impulses as well. Adobe has taken note of programs like Luminar AI, which expand capabilities beyond standard editing to creative options like automated sky replacement and has jumped into the game themselves, offering their own version of automatic sky replacement along with their ever-improving Neural filters, which offer one-touch creative edits and some interesting possibilities that will improve over time. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Kloskowski.

The reason for the thumbs down is most likely for the ‘too much waffle’ three minutes in and still no new features mentioned. If you are going to produce a video on the new features then do that from the outset. That’s why people get irritated with videos such as yours that veer off at tangents, stick to the task at hand, no matter how important you think these side issues are. A video lasting twenty three minutes to introduce the new features! Come on man get real and cut the waffle and get to the point. Lean and mean and to the point is what’s required.

Excellent point! None of us want to listen to a lot of waffle up front - cut to the chase.

Many YouTubers do this to trigger more midroll advertisements and increase monetization. Not saying that's the case here though.

I'm finding the changes to Lightroom / Camera Raw adjustments brushes / graduated filters to be quite irritating. It's made adjustments that were simple and on the top layer of the interface are now one further layer down in the interface and less obvious to use

Absolutely - a total pain.
