10 Different Ways to Print Your Photos

We may be firmly in the digital age, but there will always be something special about printing your images. However, there are dozens of ways to print your images, and it comes down to cost, your taste, photo content, final location, and much more. So, before you start spending a lot of money, it is worth taking a look at some of the options. This helpful video will show you 10 different ways to print your images, including the pros, cons, and aesthetic differences between them.

Coming to you from Kyle McDougall, this great video looks at 10 different options for printing images, including glossy, matte, and c-type methods. If you have not printed your photos before, it really is worth trying. It is not uncommon in the digital age to just enjoy your photos on screens, but seeing them in the physical form is an entirely different experience and can really build a sense of pride in your creative accomplishments. On top of that, even if you do not plan to sell your work in print form, they make for fantastic gifts for family or a way to decorate your own home! Check out the video above for the full rundown from McDougall.

In the UK there's an app called FreePrints that give you 45 6x4" c-type prints a month, so I'll proof 45 a month that way and then pick the best (sometimes that's none) and send them off to One Vision Imaging in Coventry and get them blown up to 12x8" or larger either c-type or giclée, then maybe frame one or two and hang one.

The rest then go in an album.

For sure, printing your photos is amazing, but being particular about what you print is important. :)

Disappointing that his video was essentially a 17 minute advertisement for the sponsoring photo lab. No very interesting or useful.
