New Video Proves Impact Protection of New Lowepro Roller Bags

I've always been a Lowepro fan. I own pelicans, Think Tank, ONA, swag backpacks... the works. But for some reason I keep gravitating back to Lowepro. I currently own both the old and new versions of the Pro Roller bags. In an attempt to show how well protected your gear is inside the new Lowepro Pro Roller X-Series, Lowepro decided to do the ridiculous. Ridiculous in the sense that they go above and beyond what a normal bag would be subject to. Well, unless the TSA drops it from the cabin to the tarmac.

What do you think? Convinced?

That ought to handle checking your camera gear into the cargo hold of airlines and trusting it to the baggage handlers. That should be their next test where LowePro films the loading and unloading of their roller bag.

Reminded me of this Freitag bags product video about durability

This one is better. Lowepro video is very amateurish. Seems like they had no plans to do a proper video. Just do it kind of thing.

I get it... but why didn't they put a camera and lenses in there?

I can't imagine them saluting and congratulating themselves after the video. Blah!

Why not pack it full of camera gear and do the test again to see if it works afterwards?

I'm not too sure most people only use the very centre of the bag.

That's a fair assessment for sure. I use the entire space in mine.

Yeah wake me when they stuff it full of expensive and heavy camera equipment like the rest of us do. That may have been enough for me to never buy another Lowe Pro bag.

The wheels should be at 2 times bigger

The wheels should be twice the size, and the exterior of the bag to look cooler.

What a waste of 2mins and 15 seconds. Pointless video. I'm so bored with this crap. And I DO use Lowepro...and love them, but my cases have camera gear in. Great shoot guys - yeah enjoy the bubbly.
