Fstoppers' Newest Tutorial On Cityscape and Astrophotography Is Now Available

Earlier this year we teamed up with Elia Locardi to produce the most in depth photography tutorial on landscape photography: Photographing The World: Landscape Photography and Post-Processing. Today we are excited to release the next installment of Photographing The World

This new photography tutorial with Elia Locardi has been titled Photographing the World: Cityscape, Astrophotography, and Advanced Post-Processing. This tutorial picks up where the last one left, and is geared more towards the intermediate/expert shooter. The locations themselves are increasingly more difficult to shoot and Elia's post processing builds in complexity from the first tutorial as well.

Who Is Elia Locardi?

Elia Locardi is a motion graphics artist and professor turned professional Landscape/Cityscape photographer. Four years ago Elia and his wife sold everything they owned and have been traveling the world perpetually shooting the worlds most beautiful locations ever since. You can hear Elia's full story in the video below.

Over the past few years Elia has become one of the most followed photographers on social media. His unique style of photographing locations through an entire lighting change and then "blending time" in Photoshop has given his images an incredible, while still realistic look, that could never be created in camera.

What Does This Tutorial Include?

This tutorial includes over 14 hours of video content. You will quickly learn about Elia's gear, the basics of cityscape photography, and the basic principles for post processing his images. You will then immediately hit the road with Elia as he travels around the world to seven cities across five different countries. You will get to watch Elia work through photographing each scene on location, and you will get the raw files directly from his camera. After each lesson Elia will take you into the studio and you will get to follow along as he processes every image in his signature style.

A 2+ hour behind the scenes movie of the production of this entire tutorial is also included. In this video you will get to follow along with us for 2 months while we film the largest project of our lives in some of the most beautiful locations in the world.

I bought this on the advance sale over the weekend and after watching the first three lessons, I already felt it was worth the price. 20 lessons total. Elia is an excellent instructor and everything is very well put together. Great job to all involved!

God damit more money spent on your training videos :)
just watched all the behind the scenes,
amazing series.
Lee you look like a right laugh to travel with.
Is this the last series from Elia?

Haha you already watched all 10?? We have nothing planned but I'm sure we'll work with Elia again one day.

Great to know you've been a S Florida resident for a while.

Elia and Fstoppers....I downloaded the new Cityscape tutorial last week..just loving it ....thank you so much to you and the team for your dedicated gift to all us other would be Landscape Photographers.
I have been a pro photographer for 36 years, 20 years in newspapers and the last 16 years in public relations and architecture.
The detail and techniques you go into is precisely what I needed to breath new love and life into my own work now my two sons are grown to the point where they don't need me so much and I am extremely grateful for what you and Fstoppers have created.
I know you all make a living from it but in my view if you do something that grows and nourishes the best in others around you it is the height of honourable living and I personally totally appreciate it, thank you.
I was interested by what you said about the development of mirrorless cameras, for now I am wed to my Nikon D810 kit and lenses, however you said in time you hoped to go fully mirrorless when the quality was absolutely there.
Could you please let us know when you think that has happened... sometimes I miss new developments and I would like to make the conversion when a lighter weight system arrives that supports quality standards beyond what I currently use.
Happy Christmas to you, Naomi and all the team...have a great one!!
