Submit Your Best "Action" Photo

While this might not be the most 'actiony' image submitted, I love it and wanted to share it. I was shooting surfers one afternoon - there were dozens of them out there - but the waves were small and they were just hanging out on their boards, waiting. Then this surfer picked up a wave and came in all crouched into the tight, low curl and zooming along the wave. He worked every bit of his ride out of the low, long foamy wave. When I looked at the image later, I was surprised to see that this savvy surfer was, in fact, an older guy. He obviously knew what he was about. Look at the concentration on his face! The ready position of his hands. He is totally into it! I love this image because this guy is 'all in' and you can see that in every bit of him. And he was making his own stuff happen - not waiting for it to happen for him like the young guns were. Cool!
