1.1 - "Snap Shot"

This is an unretouched (cropped) i-Phone image taken from my car while dropping my buddy off at the YYJ airport.-- After reviewing my photos, I realized how appropriate the "WRONG WAY" sign was, and the fact that the worker is blowing the snow toward the area he just cleared! He's probably STILL out there, pushing that machine around trying to figure out why he can't keep up with the snowfall. I have been binge-watching all the f-stopper YT vids this month, because my new Real Estate assistant said I ought to start learning and shooting my own real estate photos. She interviewed ME, when I was hiring her, and one of the questions was:"If you had 100 million in the bank, What would you be doing?" I replied - Some kind of photography. She said--"You make good money, start investing in good equipment with each sale, and start shooting photos. So, although this image is probably the lowest rated, I would really LOVE to take your course either on basic photography or Julius Shulman style architectural photography, and get you to look at my work again in a year to see the improvement your training makes. Really appreciate the effort all you guys go to to bring great content steadily. Peter Hurley is always welcome on my screen, what an easy dude to learn from, wholly moley! Keep up the great work. And always be kind. LOL

This is probably one of the few shots that would qualify as a snapshot in my opinion. I am not saying that to be mean to you but that is the appearance of this shot.

It is a little grainy, probably a low light image that was overcompensated by the iPhone. The grainy appearance could be because of the crop done as well.

The crop seems just a little tight. I would like to see just a little more of the snow being discharged from the snowblower, I want more of the story.

It appears that the focus was ok looking at the sign, but that could have been where the phone focused.

I would like to see how this image would look processed.

Thanks Andy, well said. There was no time to get out the REAL camera, which would have made this snow scene look incredible. So, I defaulted to "Casey Neistat's" advice: 'Shoot with what you have in hand'
Processed this image would be a real mess!
