This was just from an ordinary-looking sunset at the beach. I had just purchased a cheap 10 stop ND filter to mess around with and thought I would use it to try and make the scene a little more interesting. To my surprise, the undesired color cast from this cheap ND filter actually made the image by creating these dramatic, punchy blue and purple tones that I'd say look natural but sci-fi and Blade Runner-esque at the same time. Let me know what you think of this style of color pallete since it is something I've actually been applying to more of my photos to create my "look" of purple highlight and blue shadow split toning.
