I was cleaning my parent's pool when I saw a dragonfly struggling to hold onto the pool liner. I put my hand in to water and it was able to grab on. I set it down on on a fire pit cover to let it dry and it stayed perfectly still. I grabbed my camera and was able to take several shots up close without it moving. It dried off and was able to fly away. I guess that's one way for an insect to stay still.

Taken with a reverse ring and a Pentax 50mm lens (Takumar or SMC, I forget).
